VeChain Foundation Loses $6.6 Million in VET Token Hack

Singapore-based VeChain Foundation has been the victim of a hack, which resulted in the loss of $6.6 million in cryptocurrency, the company announced in a blog post on 13 December. According to the announcement, at 12:27 UTC on Friday an unknown hacker redirected around 1.1 billion VET tokens from the VeChain Foundation’s buyback wallet to a private address.
